Introducing jean & andy

Hi all! Welcome to our first blog! 

Just wanted to give a little more information about us.

Jean has worked in health care 👩‍⚕️ for 30 years and spent much of her life caring for others.

Andy has been working as a Boilermaker for 40 years, working on many large projects, buildings and for the past 10 years worked on fabrication of offshore navy patrol⚓vessels.

We are embarking on a new journey after making the leap from the city to the country with our 2 Staffies, Zeus (aka The Zeuster) and Henry (aka Henryetta),  for a quieter, less frantic lifestyle.

We purchased approximately 5 acres on Yorke Peninsula and have been busy planting out our orchard  🍐🍑🍎🍊🍋 and wind break shrubs. So far we have planted 70 plants/trees.

We have been squeezed into our little cottage since June and are currently finalising house plans for our build. We will be excited to have space again (and a dedicated formulation room)!

In the meantime we are using every scrap of garden to grow our veggies, making compost, and growing the worm farm. The worm tea (leachate) is the best tonic for all plants, and our entire garden has flourished from using it. It's safe for all indoor/outdoor plants. They will love you for it. We have Lemon Balm growing and have never had leaves so big!

It's like steroids (without the side effects of the ones that get a bad rap) for your plants! We have grown cauliflowers  successfully this year when they were a bit hit and miss before. We can't wait to harvest our worm castings to supercharge everything!

Which brings us to introduce our 'Gardener's Foaming Hand Scrub'.... we spend a lot of time with our hands in the soil and developed the scrub to clean deeply (get under our fingernails too) but without being too harsh on already dry hands. Everyone who has used it loves😍 it.

Our Jayne used it after painting and said it was fab for getting paint🎨 off her hands. We have used it to get rid of the smell of seafood after peeling prawns 🍤 or picking crab🦀 meat...it's also good for a clean up after any dirty or greasy work 👍

PS: our house 🏡 plans have been finalised, and we have signed a build contract YAY!!!
