Our 'Calm it down!' body custard is ideal for extremely dry, irritated, angry skin.

We have put together a deliberate blend of nourishing butters and oils which are known to calm irritated skin.  One of the key ingredients is Emu Oil. Emu Oil is gaining popularity due to its omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory properties, and are thought to regulate immune function and help dampen inflammatory responses.  It is also bacteriostatic, which means that bacteria cannot grow in its presence.  It also has the added benefit of penetrating the skin deeply, as well as promoting wound healing. The addition of coconut milk powder gives soothing and softening hydration to skin.

The star of the show here is the colloidal oatmeal, which has gentle reparative properties that soothe and relieve itching, redness and chapping of irritated skin.  It spreads evenly on skin, giving a protective film that helps to decrease trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL).
